I'm truly sorry for your loss.
I can't think of anything else appropriate to say. My car was broken into and things stolen so I understand a little of your loss, but I don't pretend it's the same as losing the only method of transportation. I'm sorry.

That sucks.
Where do you live? Jim
When I had my bike stolen back in college, I had dreams of throwing a spear through the front wheel and seeing the thief catapult over the handle bars.
Had you taken adequate measures to secure your bike? To think! Crime in Canada!
Hi Reyd:
Sorry to hear that, I wouldn't have thought it would have been a problem there. I guess beautiful scenery doesn't make for good people. Hope they find it for you. I'll hold onto some Locust till you're ready.

Nope:( had just gotten back from playing rugby, and I was a bit tired, I have to go through the house, into the basement unlock it and open it then put the bike away, and I didn't. If it had been in the basement, the insurance company probably would have covered it.
I had one ripped off about 18 months ago. Worth about $450.
My deductible on my homeowner's insurance is $500.

I was going to offer you a mtn bike my wife no longer uses but I live in central California. Sorry for your loss. Jim
replacement value 759$ plus tax, fenders and lock etc. the insuarance would give us up to 200$, but we'd end up paying more because our rating wouldn't be low-risk like it is now, for three years.
