OK, I finally made it into a store and looked at dish washing soaps. I did some pricing and then noticed the much larger bottles of laundry detergent that seemed less expensive. I've only heard of people using dish soap for LDD but what about laundry soap?

It has been tried and from all reports, it hasn't worked. The LDD isn't that much more expensive and it lasts and lasts with occasional additions of another half-gallon of LDD.
