Friends, a friend of mine has emailed from the city Jogjakarta in Indonesia, asking if I know of any woodturning contacts in that area. I personally have no knowledge, I had to get the atlas just to see where it is!
If you know anything that might be of use to my email acquaintance I feel sure she would be grateful. She has just started woodturning and is need of some local guidance or at least someone who understands her language and could possibly get on the telephone or call round. I have been trying to understand her questions and then writing emails in return but of course the language barrier increases the difficulties.
I have tried an internet search on most of the well known search engines but it proved worthless unless I wanted a hotel, tourist information or other dubious pleasures.
