Wow girl - you knit up a storm! I'm not sure that I've finished anything of consequence since your last Faroese. :)

Great Noreen! :)

Dennis

One of these years I'll figure out how to use my digital camera and actually share some pics.

Kim,

Have you received any mail yet?

I have used the needles on a cap for my nephew, they are great.

Hi, Kim! I used Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock, GOLDEN HILL :D Noreen

Another lovely piece of work, Noreen.

Those colours are lovely - so rich.

Bernadette

That's beautiful, Noreen!

*hugs* Gem

Yes, I did, and thank you :-)

I love these Crystal Palace bamboos. I went so far as to dump all my others and now have a complete set of size 0 through 10 in Crystal Palace DPs. I just wish they would make some of the "off" sizes; I recently lost one of my 2.5-mm needles, and whereas I am capable of knitting socks using only 4 needles I prefer to use 5 so it looks like I'll be replacing this set.

Vintage Purls spun a FINE 'yarn':

They're one of my fave things to knit, and now that I've gotten used to charts -vs- written out patterns, they knit up fast. I'm planning another soon, will probably be one of Sivia Harding's patterns... Noreen

Thanks, Dennis! Hugs, Noreen

Thanks, Bernadette! I used Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Golden Hills on US #5 circs. Noreen .. and yes, the colours are very sharp and 'rich'! :D

Not Likely spun a FINE 'yarn':

Thanks, Gem! I only wish my elcheapo camera could really show the details better... Hugs, Noreen

Kim, I completely agree with you. They are so smooth, no catches at all, but not too slippery. I have size 0, 1, 1.5 and 2 so far...

Alison

Thank you Kim and Welcome.

I hope you have luck finding the odd sizes, it is hard.

I really have no preference in needles, I usually buy the cheapest. I do have a lot of 15 to 20 dollar circular needles. I buy them if I can't find the cheap one. I have about every needle manufacturer there is. Typical guy, I like to get what I need when I go shopping.

Hugs & God bless, Dennis & Gail
