Wow, you certainly manage to get a lot done Nora! Hats off to you. What I've finished in Sept: 6 x 6 squares, afghan squares for other projects, a pair of socks with the self striping yarn, and the entire front of the aran sweater (yeah). Marie and the cats

Nora, you sure did quite a few things in Sept, and only one is ? for yourself (the afghan from the 6x6 squares) ! And you accomplished all these things with your thumb going to physical therapy.

I don't have much to report - I did the 6x6 sqs, and I am still trying to get the sampler afghan for my DD assembled - that has taken forever

- I started it in Sept. ' 04. I don't enjoy working on it bc of the boring color - cream. I know that if she had chosen bright colors, it would be done by now. I guess I am not very disciplined.

I frogged the shawl-of-many-colors to redo it, but I won't let myself work on that until the afghan is done - Catch 22 there.

Hi Nora

My list for September: FO's A fun scarf in black with green lurex thingies. The black is little flag thingies too. Hard to describe. I made it long and narrow and it's for me. It doesn't photograph at all well, or I'd put it up in my Yahoo album. A pair of cool socks for me in variegated green/blue with beads, using Plymouth Sockotta cotton/wool/nylon yarn. Love that yarn and must find more of it. Rose coloured felted slippers for me. My old pair had holes in the soles. I finally finished my autumn coloured sweater for me. I had frogged the collar (peter pan) and changed it to a turtleneck. Like it much better. a pair of camouflage socks for #2 grandson for Xmas a preemie outfit in plain white acrylic - a 15" blanket, a sweater and a cap.

In looking back over the list, I'm surprised at how many of the items are for me (finally). I usually am knitting for the grandkids.

WIP's Ice blue UpCountry sweater for me. pair of socks for me

WIM's Another pair of camo socks - this time for #1 grandson for Xmas The Fiddlesticks Peacock Feathers shawl - will be starting it soon. Can't wait!!!!!
