Hi

Well it's that time of month again and here is what I have finished this month. Not much considering the problem I have been having with my thumb.

FO's

7 different novelty yarn scarves
4 8-round granny squares

WIPS another novelty yarn scarf more granny squares and lots of other items that are now waiting for thumb to get better.

I haven't done much either Darlene. I had no FO's for June and just a couple of small things for July.

FO's a pair of cotton socks in a bright rainbow of colours a felted envelope bag, not sure I like it - it looks weird a grey wool laceweight scarf for a friend - still have to block it

WIP's Paton's Up Country sweater for me Autumn colours sweater for me

That's enough for now - it's too hot to knit!

Hi Darlene & Shelagh,

You both did more than I did last month.

FO's

2 nine square granny square afghans, each square twelve rounds. Squares for my Aug. partner

WIP's

Knit baby sweater

4 afghans.

It's been too hot here to crochet too, hope Aug. is cooler.

Hugs,

Nora

Did a lot of spinning in July. About a dozen skeins of white Romney for dye experiments. First experiment is 5 skeins of brazilwood purples.

Other than that, I finished a knitted market bag and made a few spindles.

I'm just getting caught up on messages, having been called away last Saturday. I also have a small list of FO's for July:

6 6" squares 1 Tychus hat done as a KAL

WIP's: My DS's sweater, which I haven't touched in months. Maybe I'll work on it when he shows up later in the month. Then, I can judge how long to make the sleeves.

OTN's: I just restarted a tank top for myself....a 3rd time. And of course, I have been having trouble with the bottom edge.
