August FO's

Hi Darlene,

Gee, I had forgot what I had managed to finish, good thing I have my notebook.

FO's five afghans that I had started in July.

With it getting cooler I'm hoping to get more afghans done, especially when I'm going to AC Moore tomorrow and buy more yarn.

Darlene, For having a bum thumb, you have done very well!

I have NO FO's for August. :-( I did join the "tent" at the shoulders and that was quite an accomplishment! I ended up doing a 3 needle bind-off, but I made sure to end with 2 purl rows so that the seam looked like a knit row when I bound off.

Hopefully, I will have more to report for September.

OOPS - I found that I did have 1 FO in August. It was "Just Your Basic Beanie." I feel so much better knowing that I didn't totally waste the month.

My FOs include a crotchet bag for dd, and several crotchet squares which will one day be joined into a blanket.

Dh's waistcoat is nearly done: I have to join the pieces together and do the neckband, but I want to check it is the right size first. I am on the extra ball of wool that Sue W sent me.

I have finished the knitting for a cushion cover, although I will also have to make up a material base for it. So it is still a WIP.

No, Nora, I had gotten those squares done earlier than August. I am now working on my September squares, so at least I will be able to post them at the end of the month. LOL
