Hi Jan, Eimear and Sue.

I have your names down, and so far there is the same number so you may be getting a partner that you had before.

Hugs,

Nora

Already, Sue and I have been partners three times (once for squares and twice for threads). So I'm really encouraging more to sign up for the threads exchange and not because I didn't enjoy our exchanges but partnering with a new person is part of the fun.

I would, but I didn't fulfill my last obligation yet. I just can't get myself motivated to do threads. Bad Katherine!

Hi Janise,

Yes, you are on there. Ellen are you interested? There is a FAQ for it just before the sign up posting.

HI -- I read the FAQ and I'm not sure I'm getting it -- is the yarn we exchange sender's choice or is it hand spun or....???? Then once we get the yarn from the partner what happens?

Hi Holly, the sender decides what to send and it can be any kind of yarn or thread. After you get it, you can use it in any way you want. Actually, I have not yet done anything with mine but hope to make a bag some day. Please join as we need more participants.

Here is a copy of the FAQs which Nora posted last Saturday.

  1. On the first day of the month the invitation to participate will be posted, called Threads exchange.

  1. From that a list of partners will be arranged and posted.

  2. Contact your partner direct to obtain their snail mail address.

  1. Exchange to consist of 5 lengths of yarn each 4 metres long (1 metre = 1 yard 3 inches)

  2. Yarns are to be at the senders choice of colour and type. The more variation the better.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for posting the FAQ's again for me. I'll wait until tomorrow or Thurs. and see if Ellen or Holly care to join. I do know how you feel with only six gals signing up every month for the exchange.

Hugs,

Nora

Hi Holly,

I've added your name so now you'll have to watch for the partners list.
