Can I join in with my knitting needles please?

Hello there,

Can I play here to please? I used to knit a lot when my 2 older children were young now 16 and 14 and fell out of the habit about 8 or 9 years ago. Last year I bought myself a new set of needles and knitted a few scarves with some of the fantastic new wools around am itching to knit more again :o)

It helped I was bought the knitting calendar, that has been discussed, for Christmas and I have started the lizard pelt scarf/boa? for my daughter who is into lizards atm :o) Should finish that tomorrow sometime depending on how much my 4 year old wants to help *g*

I live in England and married with 3 children. A very 'crafty' person when I have the time ( and usually when I don't !) Any other questions about me just ask :O)

Certainly. Pull up a chair (the pot is keeping hot over there, pour yourself a cuppa) and join in the circle.

Mirjam,

I've always been a coffee drinker. In the last couple of years, I have become an afternoon tea drinker. I found a place that has over 100 different varieties of high quality tea and I am hooked. Rooibos is said to be very beneficial to drink. I have tried many of the 100+ and I want to eventually try them all, but my favorites are cardomon-ginger or lavender tea latte. I buy their premium ceylon by the box to drink at home. The rooibos varieties they have are nice too.

No sadly not :o( Am allergic to most animal fleeces and furs so I am deprived of trying these out *sulks* lol

ATM however I am focused on knitting, bread making and thinking of starting a new quilt. Only time will tell what grabs my tiny attention span next ;o)

I believe it's possible to get unspun cotton/ soy/ corn fiber, if you should want to try spinning just for the heck of it.
