How would you keep from stretching the yarn out?

Now that is a good question. I am always so careful hand winding to not stretch it. Alas, it might be a disaster.

You know whats funny? I own that exact mixer. I got it for my wedding shower back in 1984. BTW, today is my 21st wedding anniversary! How's that for a coincidence. LOL

Hi Diane,
Yes, happy anniversary from me too. Sorry I didn't get it posted to the group, but a severe thunderstorm came along first.
Hugs,

Thanks for the congrats! Actually, I didn't remember myself until the day before when writing the date at work. Me thinks I have been working too hard!! LOL

I have had this happen to us as well. One year it was several days AFTER the anniversary before we both noticed ! Some of those hard working years in the middle of life ! But now that I am older I wish we would have slowed down but survival is vital and we had to keep moving ! --Literally ! Moved a lot for the country ! Barbara

I totally understand, Barbara! I even forgot my grandson's birthday one year. I made up a lie about not being able to get hold of his mother to find out what would be best to send him, and she pretended to believe it.

Diane,
I'm still playing catch-up but hope you had a wonderful anniversary.
