I've got your names on my list and I've emailed Dawn about a favorite color, but haven't heard back yet. Any color would be nice and even the red/white/blue would be great. Thanks for the suggestion Kristine. Also the gals who needed my snail mail I've sent you an offlist note with it.

Now, a real shock to me, I was listening to the local news just now and they told about Marrissa on there as she is from my area, and her parents flew down to Walter Reed to be with her.

Speaking as the most recent recipient (yes, I PROMISE I will take a picture and send it to Gemini to post) I absolutely LOVE all the different colors and styles and techniques. It's like a bouquet from the most wonderful flower garden you can imagine, tied with the "ribbon" of crochet all around each square to join them all together, and each flower representing love from a different person. In fact, I keep refolding it to show a different segment on the back of my favorite chair. So far this fall, there have only been two evenings when it was cool enough to tuck it round me while watching tv, but it is very cosy for an afternoon nap, and there will be plenty more chilly nights in December, January and possibly February.

I can send two squares by the end of January, Nora, I am slowly recovering and well enough to do that, but not yet ready to work on the WIP sweater; however I seem to have mislaid your snail mail address.

Hi Everyone,

I've heard back from Dawn and yes she is from my area and is only 20 years old, still in a coma and according to the TV, they had to remove her left leg, not just her foot. She was the only one to surive the attack. I'll keep you posted if I hear more or if I hear from Dawn.
