Hi all,

This is not a nice returning post to have to make to the group but it's come to my attention that someone is taking free patterns from my website

and then selling them on their website.

I just want to say for the record that this is NOT OK. Not only is selling another person's work illegal (even if they are giving it away for free), but changing the names and then selling patterns that are available for free is downright immoral.

I'm seriously unimpressed.

Sorry to hear that, Sarah. I have used several of your patterns in the past, and gotten great praise for the results. I have always told people where I got the patterns.

I don't blame you! That's awful. I don't know who it is, but whoever it is - SHAME on you!

Please come back and post about your craft work.

You've managed to determine that Noreen is the culprit because part of her website is down?

It's a small world, Wooly. Maybe bj is the one who let Sarah know about the infringement in the first place? Some of us aren't thieves. Some of us even look out for each other.

nod.

Who is supposed to be a thief? Straightforward discussion is certainly better than veiled accusations. If you, or BJ, or anyone else have something to say just say it, don't priss around.

'll see the top row are the images that Noreen had on her website aspatterns for sale and the botom row are the images from my websiteshrunk to the same size. They're not just similar, they're the same. She just shifted the colours over and added a border in an attempt totry and disguise them.
