sweater above for my niece Megan is something I did about 5 months ago. It is Lion Brand Baby Soft 22 stitches an inch on us 6 needles. She wanted something baby soft. :) I should be close but I messed up. The number one mistake of still involving people is not getting close enough. I used to do many weddings on word of mouth business. The next pictures will be better. The yarn holds the shape on the cables pattern perfect, I was impressed with the sweater even before I blocked. I is great yarn for a light sweater.

Has anyone in our group used the "Baby Soft"?

I will start posting more of what I knit and crochet. I plan to start a moebius soon for Gail.

Hugs & God bless, Denis & Gai

is a little better. I hope you do not need memberships for both places.

Beautiful! I do like cables myself and the classic cream works so well with them.

Maybe that is 22 stitches per 4 inches? That would be closer to the yarn band recommendations.

Nice at any gauge, and Megan looks happy, which it the important thing.

Thanks VP,

Megan wanted white and I talked her into the cream. It is a pattern loaded from the inter net, I did not keep the pattern. I did a lot of changes for the pattern to fit Megan. She has the longest arm I ever saw on a youngster her age and very slim.

Yes she proudly wears it often and says "This sweater is custom made just for me by my Uncle Denny."

Sorry Aaron,

I saw that after I sent the post and knew most people in this group would understand.

I wish I would have book marked the pattern or saved the one I marked all up for Megan. I could find it if I searched for a bit.

What a lovely design, Dennis.

Having such a pretty model helps, but that pattern is extra special.

Thank you Bernadette. Megan will go to Starbucks with me and talk for an hour or more. It is nice to have a high school person who wants to spend time with you, she is precious. She downloaded two patterns and asked me if I was good enough to knit such a sweater, she knew better. :).

She is also an Honor Society student. She hopes to go into photo jornalisml.

Hugs and thanks. Dennis
