Digital Row Counter Question

Has anyone used a digital row counter? If so, how did you like it. I would appreciate any useful info you might want to share. I'd like a counter that could be set for a certain number of rows, and automatically reset itself after those rows were knitted. Example: If I had a 12 row repeat, the counter would automatically go to 1 after

  1. Is there anything like that out there?

TIA

I would LOVE something like that. But I've never seen one. I have one of the Clover "Kacha-Kacha" counters and I find that a little better than those little counters that slip on your needle, but it's still just a normal old manual counter. It would be pretty easy to write a little program that does what you want but unless you're prepared to knit with a laptop beside you I don't think that will help. :)

It sounds like a good program for a Palm computer. I've just ordered a book on programming for a Palm computer, but I have a few other ideas I'd like to try out first.
