discontinued yarn?

May 03, 2005 3 Replies

I was crocheting a celtic style afghan, and came up about a yard short on the yarn I was using. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but I think this particular yarn has been discontinued. I can't find it anywhere! So, my question is does anyone know if Caron no longer makes Wintuk yarn? Specifically the Fisherman color? Also, is there any other type of yarn that washes up the same that I could use? This is just an off-and-on project, but has been in the works for coming up on a year and I'd really like to get it done. Thanks very much!
