Don't you love it when...

... You are looking through your stash and find some lovely yarn you don't recall ever buying? There's not much though so I'll have to think of a little project for it.

What are the yarn-related things that make you smile for the rest of the day?

I found a pattern for a knitted flower from mohair in my new magazine. You knit 10 petals, 5 larger and 5 small, then sew together with a button in the middle and use a pin back. You could try that with some of your smaller yarn if you've got nothing better to do...

Finding a small ball of yarn that was used for a special project, like when my kids were small. (I save all yarn leftovers) definately puts a smile on my face.

Another thing is seeing one of my family members walking around with snippets of yarn attached to their clothes!

Hi M,

Seeing the afghan that I've put together from the 6x6 squares that I've received from the exchange.

Hugs,
