felting to fulling, textile lesson...:=))

Hello everyone, I have been told and corrected, by several people on myuse of the term felted knitting. the term should be fulled knitting orweaving.. So there you go another lesson in correct terminology. When you have useda textile technique to create an item as in knitting, weaving andcrocheting, and you (felt) your piece you should use the word full, fromfulling. "Felt being originally a non-woven material, it may even predate woventextiles". The last is quoted from Mable Ross' Encyclopida of HandSpinning.
