The bad thing is, we have so many that it would horrifying to find out where else they are working. I think we all would be very surprised. Nursing homes are one of the worst. Yes many of them are caring for our elders.

Wooly's right, they're everywhere. My sister in CA checked the local registry and found that her daughter's after school tutor was married to one. Sis confronted her about it, and she insisted he was set up. What ever. Needless to say, she found another tutor.

Noreen, I unfortunately have no children, but in my opinion, you can never be too careful. Parents can never lower their guard and children must be taught how to react to strangers. I find it very sad that the world has come to this, but as the old saying goes - Better safe than sorry! It's happening way too often and I believe the laws need to tightened on those predators that are on probation. They have way too much freedom. There is NEVER an excuse to hurt a child! I just had to voice my thoughts on this.
