RR got its collective act together and fixed the news server for my region. Seems they had nearly 1m complaints about it starting on Friday.
It doesn't always work, but obviously voicing one's opinon can have an effect!

Reply to the list as I do not publish an email address to USENET. This practice has cut my spam by more than 95%. Of course, I did have to abandon a perfectly good email account...
