I'm Baaaacccck!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Melinda Meahan, who patiently (1) found Teranews for me, then (2) walked me through the process of getting linked up. I've been reading the boards all along through Google, but didn't want to sign up with them to post as I didn't like wading through all their ads.

Welcome back, Olwyn Mary. I hope we don't lose you again. What have you been knitting lately?

Thjanks for the welcome, Katherine. Mostly, I have been knitting things for the grandbabies, but I am almost finished a shawl for me in a very pale pink nylon boucle which I got for free and which was designed for weavers. It is working out so soft and fluffy I find it hard to believe is is a synthetic fiber. That is my "chairside" project, because the yarn came on a huge cone which is decidely not portable. My "carry-along" project is a deep rose peruvian wool cardigan for MEEEEEE - at last. I decided to let everyone else wait for a while, until I get myself a new wool sweater for winter.

OH, they both sound nice. And it is even better that they are both for you! I am doing three grandbaby things, one DD poncho, and a pair of socks for me.

Thank you Norma. It's good to be able to join in the conversation again, instead of just sitting on the outside looking in!

Hi Mary,

Welcome back, and two projects for just you, good. I agree the others can wait their turn.

I've gotten used to Google and use it all the time and I never look at their ads.

Hugs,

Nora
