I'm back from Atlantic City!

Hi gang!

Just a short note on my return from Skate America. I had a great time - loved the skating (of course) and spending time with my skating friend.

Hee hee - I even won $98.48 on a penny slot machine! (and I never win much of anything, ever).

I'm exhausted as it was a full day of travel to get back home.... so it's time to hit the sack, and I'll talk to you all tomorrow!

Hi! I'm glad that you had a great time. How was the train ride from 30th Station to AC?

Hi Shelagh,

You'll have to tell us what you were wearing and where you sat as they are showing the tapes of the skating on ESPN already. Watched some of the free dance last night. I'm glad you had a good time.

Donna - both trains - from the airport and to Atlantic City were just fine. Thanks for your input that helped me go that route. I even had enough time in the 30th st station to grab a sandwich, sit there and take that grand old station in. It reminds me a lot of the beautiful old train station we have in Winnipeg. Big rotunda, marble floors.... that was when train travel was the big thing to do. ;>)

Hi! I am happy that everything went well. Yes, 30th Street (Penn Station) is a grand old station. I remember traveling up and down the east coast of America when I was a child with my grandfather.. That was before the formation of Amtrak; it seems to me that rail travel hasn't been the same since..

Take care!

We sat towards the end near the Kiss n Cry... around 9 rows up from ice level, opposite the side where the judges sat. Sometimes I wore my baby blue jacket.
