Just wondering

JAN i am not Judging , just had an attack of somebody who doesn`t do any knitting , about my `obvious` strange Hobby ,,,,,,,HOBBY ?????? She is also Jealous that i have so many sweaters etc,,, and HINT HINT , why don`t make some for her , at least 2 of course , hint hint ,, she saw my present to ,,,,,, So to avoid some of critics i tell myself they are jealous , i hate to think they are mean ,,,, mirjam

I'm not sure what's wrong. I only have two projects going on right now. One is a cross stitch sampler and one is my throw. I suppose because I'm spinning the yarn and then crotcheting it you could count it as two projects. Of course I do have a couple of books I'm reading and a jigsaw puzzle out. And I'm busy with planning next years garden. We run a CSA farm where we sell veggies to subscribers who receive a box of veg every week. So I'm trying to decide what seeds to buy and where to put them and all the other stuff that goes with gardening. I'm also trying not to buy fiber. I've got bags of the stuff. And as long as no one shows up with more free stuff I'll probably do ok. Oh, I forgot that I need to crochet up some flowers to decorate a pair of gloves for my sister. Glad I read this thread! Bev

I have a short attention span personally, so have to be very careful I don't keep starting things or I won't finish a lot. Saying that 10 sounds like a nice even number *g*

LOL, love the logic. ATM I have 2 on the go my socks ( should be finished tonight) and a jumper for DS aged 4. Works well as the socks I do in the evening as it's easier to keep track of all 4 needles without DS help. And during the day if I have time I work on DS jumper as it's something I can knit without thinking about it to much.

Sounding really dim here, but what's a moebius?

Last month, I decided I had too many that had been sitting around for too long. I undid several, wanting to start the new year with a doable amount of projects. So I now have an afghan to crochet, but I'm not enjoying crocheting much these days. I'm working on the Irish Hiking Scarf and will add more accessories to that.

I was also going to try to use up my stash and buy new yarn only for specific projects only in the required amount.

Then I got this book - Knitted Tams.

Not dim, unenlightened! A Moebious is first a mathematical excercise, taking a long, narrowstrip of paper and giving it one twist, then connecting those ends. To see that it is infinate, unending, before connecting the ends, write something on both sides along the long edges on both sides in differring colours, then connect and 'follow' what you've written... We KNIT them in one piece from the center out. A google search will show you what we mean.... also our Mirjam is an expert at them, I've made quite a few myself, you can see them on my blog.
