Someone asked, so here's SOME info:

As of December 17th, my good online friend Gina Renay, a Biloxi MS survivor, posted the following on her blog: Knitters, crocheters, stitchers.... Afghans, blankets, prayer shawls, etc are still desperately needed in the Biloxi MS area. Your much appreciated donations can be sent to: The Fox Den

c/o Mr. Randy May

2nd Street @ Menge Av

Pass Christian, MS 39571

who will distribute your love gifts personally.

HTH,

Noreen

BTW, Gina now lives in Atlanta, GA. Hugs, Noreen

who paraphrases her sig line of:

ADDENDUM:

A few people have had trouble getting packages accepted by UPS for the Fox Den since the address is displayed as the corner of two streets rather than a street number on one street. The staff at the Fox Den deeply thanks you for your gifts and tell that they will be moving in 2 weeks to a new location. For those of you who will be shipping items in January, here is the address of a volunteer group that distributes needed supplies to 300-400 people a day who are still living in tents, trailers and cars:

Kay Ladner North Hancock Recovery Center

298291 Hwy 603 North Perkinston, MS 39573

Funny that UPS is having issues with cross-street addressing. I send packages up to the rez every two months addressed similarly and never have a problem either with UPS accepting the packages or with timely delivery.

Reply to the list as I do not publish an email address to USENET. This practice has cut my spam by more than 95%. Of course, I did have to abandon a perfectly good email account...

I haven't either, Wooly, but LionBrand added that new addendum, so I did. Gina did too...
