Saw a woman who knitted a rectangle , the length of which is your measurement from waist over shoulder to waist ,, the width is half your waist + 10 cm . knit in a rib [ can be 4 k & 4 p ] fold lengthway, measure your arm at armpit height , and leave enough opening for your arm on both sides of the fold, se under this point to the end [of fold] ,, now crochet a nice loose lacy loop patten , around the wide opening and around both armholes .. open a bit hold over you back slip in one arm than the other ,, you have a nice bolero type ,,,,sweater mirjam
