****This sounds interesting!! I think it is so thrilling to figure out "HOW to.." and difficult to stop the work, untill you have seen it finished,> and seen that your thoughts were right! ;-)
****When you take 6 threads together... do you spin them together first? Even if threads are very thin, I imagine one or two will "jump out of"/fall off the needles when you have so many at once??
****It sounds to me that knitting on machine can be much mor interesting now!
*** It's worth a try! And the start is the hardest part! Now I think it's interesting; I think it is because I like "counting" and "system" and things like that. I lam so happy when I have finished a row, and there were exactly as many stitches as i needed! LOL! AUD ;-))
Aud, I have the cones of cotton yarn sitting on the floor and guide them over a 8 feet high frame to the yarn guide. When the threads come together they automatically twist around one and other a bit. So far I have not had any probles with the threads falling off the needles. I knitted a plain long scarf for my friend. It was done in less than half an hour. We added some beads on boths sides and it looked very nice. I will keep you posted on how it will go. Half of November I will be off to Toronto again to look after my daughter and grand daughters plus their daddy. Michelle will have a carpel tunnel operation on her wrist. It would be great to have something done before I go. but time tends to fly by, we will see.
