Looking for knitting or crochet pattern for a Kangaroo

Alison, as usual the ladies have found the answer a request !! I was feeling rather sad that here I was in Aust. and did not have a clue where to get a kangaroo pattern - but nothing seems too much for our group God Bless Gwen

It has a kangaroo (have made that one), and even has a little finger puppet roo to go in the pouch.

Tara, just curious, how old is that Leisure Arts #136 book? I used to buy a LOT of those books, and don't remember seeing one with a kangaroo in it. I can't believe I missed one with toys. :o/ Hmmm... now I'm wondering if I might actually have it and just don't realize it... it's been a while since I've looked through my pattern books. ;o)

LOL me too. I can't place my hand on it at the moment, but I made the kangaroo for my brother probably in the late seventies early eighties. I know it's here somewhere, just not in the pile I expected to find it in. :-(

I would be embarrassed to admit I had patterns that old if I didn't traditionally use patterns even older (my fave baby pattern book was prolly published in the 60s...classic design styles).

A lot of my pattern books are very old. Some I bought, others I inherited from two of my aunts. I've also come across really old patterns online that I liked enough to save. ;o)
