March threads received

I also want to say a public thank you to Sue, because she sent me a second set of threads, which I really needed. She lives in the town where I bought some yarn to make a waistcoat (aka vest), and it looked like I was going to run out of yarn before I finished. So Sue very kindly got me another ball of it - even the same dyelot. I've got enough to finish the waistcoat now.

The yarn is by Stylecraft, and it is called Apache. It is like two threads twisted together, one thread is plain (in this case a dark green) and the other thread varies every inch or so from gold, through orange, blue and green to purple. I'm doing it in a moss/seed stitch pattern, and it is coming out almost like velvet. It is acrylic, but I think even real yarn snobs would like the effect.
