Need help........ :)

Susie,

It is/was. The falling leaves pattern was so soft. that's one of the reasons I'd like to re-learn knitting, it's softer than my crocheting. Perhaps that's just my crochet style, tension, yarn, I'm not sure...

David, You've probably been asked this a million times but can you see enough to read and knit OR do you have some sort of software reader or a wife reader? By the way, what is your favorite yarn to use? Susie

Cher, It was fun today. I was all ready with the 8 inches done. There were a few mess ups down in the middle and she showed me how to undo and go down and fix. She did it but I don't remember what she did. Confusing. I got my head done. I took photos and will download them soon. I started anther hat using three needles and MUCH smaller yarn. After than I think I will get into scarves and then sweaters. :) Thanks for asking. I wondered where you went. :) Susie

Sounds like you enjoyed your day Susie. Sometimes the thread gets muddled up and you think you've read them all and then out of the blue, another one turns up that is older than the others....lol goodness knows how it happens but it does sometimes....

See you got your project pics up or at least a thread called that....so I'll go and take a look

Cheers...Cher

And just wait until you get used to knitting.... then you may want to try crocheting too. More yarn fun! ;o)

Gemini, I don't know the difference between the two but may have to find out. :) Susie

Crocheting uses a single needle with a hook on it. That's one difference.

Crocheting can be soft, but it does use up more yarn than knitting because it's usually thicker. The stitches are two layers of yarn thick or more, where knitting is only one layer of yarn thick. But looser tension and lacy stitches can make crochet just as soft.

Hi Susie,

I'm totally blind at this point. When I learned to crochet and knit, I was still sighted (20/20). I did that falling leaves knitted pattern back then too. Now I drop stitches _a lot_ on knitting!

I use screen-reading hardware/software on my computer, which reads text on the screen. I'm not married (yet), and am single at the moment. When I need something read, either a neighbor reads it to me, or I scan it and have my computer read it to me. this is how I read books I buy or from the library.

I don't think I have a favoriteyarn per se, I think it's the one I am crocheting with at that moment. *grin*

Cheers,

David

Hi Susie,

You're welcome, thanks for openly asking.

How is your quilt coming along? I feel pleased for you, it's enjoyable hearing someone who's learning and enjoying it at the same time! *grin*

Best,

David
