only TWO projects on the needles!

My GAWD, I only have two projects on needles right now, I feel absolutely decadent! One's a four inch wide, 8 foot long ugly ugly ugly scarf for someone who requested it. I hate the yarn, and the colours are gross, but what the hay, she asked for it. The other is a two inch wide GORGEOUS 8 foot long scarf, most likely for ME!. I don't have anything on the hooks, nothing on the shuttles, nothing on the lace-pillow (bobbins), and nothing on the wheels! Matter of fact, methinks I'm going to sell both my wheels in order to get the Kromski I covet. Methinks I'm going to sell my Artisan knitting machine too! Working with DH this week, so posting will be sporadic. Take care all! Hugs, Noreen

Thanks, Dennis and Gail. We've got a small bathroom remodel job to do this week. Of COURSE I can't sleep tonight, aches and pains, LOL! Noreen

I have a couple of long-term UFOs that no longer count as WIPs, as I've scavenged out the needles. In both cases finishing will be a challenging because of my GAUGE issues - both projects have start dates well before I broke my arm and tore up my wrist. I will probably end up ripping them both and putting the yarn back in stash to marinate.

I'm working on a Pi shawl using Elann's Baby Silk, which is 50/50 silk/alpaca in a fingering weight. I'm running under the gun to get this thing finished but I do believe I'm going to miss my deadline...

Otherwise nothing else on needles right now!

Think of it as "Spring Cleaning." Or, maybe a seasonal migration from winter fibers to summer fibers.

All I have on the needles is my on-going sampler of gansey stitches.

Turning into a real slacker, Noreen

I've only got one active project on needles right now. I still have two unfinished items that are in the queue to finish, but as they're both warmer weather things - lightweight lacy cardigan and a lace shawl - they can wait a bit longer.

I recently finished two felted bags, the Tithe cardigan from Noro (worked up in record time for me, about a week and a half start to finish), and a pair of socks (Monkey, from Knitty).

For the 2-inch scarf, are you working the even rows backwards?
