Ok I finished that baby wrap thingy from Mason Dixon Knitting and didn't take a pix of it......also made a matching hat. When my friend has the baby she will take a pix and send it to me.....she is Vietnamese and went to Oklahoma to be with her family....her Hubby works there but she works here in Ohio....he is trying to get a Job here at the Base but so far is not having much luck.

You are all so clever on posting!! ...and you all do so much interesting work! I read, and get inspired, but have not so much time anymore.

BUT baby stuff..YES!

I became a Grand Aunt TWICE last week!!! One of my nieces got a son Saturday a week ago, and a nephew got a son on Monday. My gifts got ready in time ;-) Cotton sweater:

Thanks for nice comments! I like to knit for babies. They are small, but not fast to knit, because of the thin yarn. But I love those small things when finished. Aud ;-)

I recently knit this sweater for a baby and finished it about 2 days before he was born. The pattern is Wills from Rowan Classic Babies, and the yarn is Rowan Cashsoft. I made the same sweater about a year ago for another baby, and it's interesting to see how much I've improved in a year. Also this sweater made me realize I've been doing my picking up incorrectly, and I'm determined to fix that next time.

How nice, I can imagine the "real" color as you desribe it! AUD ;-)

What else? ;) I am making what DH is calling DD's "clown pants," longies (to be worn over cloth diaper) made of all my leftover Lamb's Pride colors. They were a nice group of New England fall colors until I ran out and had to add the purple. Now, yes, they are rather clownish. I'm knitting from the top down so I figure in a couple of months I'll rip the purple back and turn them into shorts :)

Congratulations Aud! Here in the U.S. we call your parent's aunt "Great Aunt" but Grand or Great, you are certainly both! And your work is beautiful too! :D
