OT - Okay, who is the wise guy who sent me the snow?!?!?

X-No-Archive:yes

Frankly, right now I'd rather have snow than what we've got here in Central CT which is 45-50MPH windgusts and windblown heavy rain. Started at around 7AM and is still going on now at 4:30PM.

Actually those sort of jumpers are known as jerseys or guernseys in UK. Don't know if that makes you bovine or just warm and cuddly!! Love & higs Christine

Not me Gem, we haven't had any yet this way, well we had a ''flurry'' that lay on the ground for two hours and that was it...if ya blinked you would have missed it....

But it's ok, no need to send it this way we don't really appreciate those kinda gifts.

took the Westies out today the usual walk I sent you the photo's of, and boy was that wind ever biting at my face. Course the Westies love it, and found some huge holes in the mud heaps either a fox or a badger den, so as I couldn't get them away from it, and I got a bit worried that they might disappear down it, I shall be deterring from that particular area in the future...lol hate to think what would happen if they went down into it and couldn't get out again..

Awww, poor babies!!! I bet they enjoy running all around though. Pets are like little kids, if there is water or mud anywhere around they will find it. LOL Casper being white too (like your Westies) comes in sometimes looking like he has brown stockings on. Of course in the summer when he gets Buffy to play with him and *lets* her pin him down, he comes in with some green markings on him from the grass. LOL

When you *do* get snow, do your little Westies enjoy it? Casper runs all over the yard kicking up a cloud of snow as he goes, then he'll stop and eat a lot of it. Of course, being white, when it is really snowing out you can barely make out his black eyes through the snow... and for a time (his first winter) when his nose was black, you would see three little black dots running around in the snow. hehehe

When Willie was with us (a Samoyed named "William Blake of Silver Moon" ), he absolutely loved snow. Nothing lifted his spirits quite as much as a snowfall. It doesn't happen here very often, though. He would pester Matt until the two would go for a wild romp in it. He was all white too - and pretty large.

:o) Don't you just love watching dogs playing in the snow like little kids? It always makes me smile... even when I had been in a down mood. :o)
