!!!! Donna !!!!! I think the beauty of this "flower family" can symbolize happy, active children, and "grown up "protecting in the background :-) Wasn't this a poetic thought from ME? Much more than I'm used to!LOL! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Donna, I was exactly 41 and 11/12 when my DD Susie was born - 18+ years ago. My oldest then was 20 and is now 38...So been there and done that is a good slogan. Expect remarkable things. Take lots of prenatal vitamins and remember to breathe. Best to you from all of us...

Hugs, Susan

Oooh you wouldn't like me much.... Matthew was born after only 40 minutes of hard labor. I pushed twice (with my eyes tightly closed to concentrate, but was totally expecting to have them open when he was born so I could see) and the doctor asked me if I'd like to open my eyes and look at my baby. I said "That's it... it's over?" The nurses told me if I was ever going to have another baby I should camp out on the doorstep. LOL

Peace! Gemini

Hi there;

Hmmm, 40 minutes of labour.....aren't you lucky! My first 2 were born naturally with long hours of labour. Amy was born via emergency C-Section. With all 3 there have been complications right at the end, all different but still complications. Rob and Cath were both 6lbs 9 oz's.....Amy was 8lbs 10oz. Honestly, I would prefer a scheduled section. I don't agree with my husbands stand, "short term pain, for long term gain". I'd rather the "no pain and 6 week recovery"! .

Hmm -- and how many babies has your husband delivered?? I suspect we would have no population problem if men had the babies. My dh , at least, has a very low pain threshold and would never have put up with three.
