Paton's Bohemian

Has anyone worked with this yarn? I was in Michael's yesterday while waiting for my dog ((my baby) to get chest xrays - she has pneumonia, but I caught it early, yay) - and I was feeling the yarns there :) The Bohemiam felt SO very soft, I was itching take it home with me. I resisted. I was wondering if it works well.

We have sold a lot of it, and also we have knit it into scarves etc. It is a nice, soft yarn. The ends tend to fray so we recommend putting Fray Check (or a similar compound) on the ends.

Thanks Roger. Now I know I won't be able to resist it again. Looks like I'll be making some scarves soon :)

Roger, do you recommend FrayCheck for ribbon yarns too? I've got some Sari in a scarf and I'm not sure how the fringes will stand up to washing and wearing.

One of the women in our knitting group made herself a gorgeous poncho-type garment with a turtleneck in the darker blue colour combo and it's gorgeous! So soft!!

Just pull at a cut end with your fingers. If it comes apart, then get out the fray check.

Roger.
