After completing a kitchen reno, I was itching to sew something again so I began with 10 pillowcases for the family kids' Christmas gifts thiss year. After the holidays, I wanted to use up some stash bits and pieces and this design appealed to me for one of five baby quilts that I 'must' make ..... three new babies are due this year (one, any day) and two babies are no longer babies!The photo wallhanging has been waiting in the 2du pile for a couple of years - this child is almost 3yo now and I met him yesterday for the first time - lots of teasing his Grandma for that omission! The photo was taken in the UK when Brayden was visiting his other relatives for the first time at 6months old. I'm now teasing Grandma because the perfect place to hang the project hasn't been found yet...the 3D effect changes according to the light source - for now, Anne carries it with her from room to room.
