I asked Jim about that remark and he hasn't heard it before either. He said that he'd take it as meaning a "no brainer" but he can't be sure. Sorry I couldn't be more help Noreen. :-(

Thank you! THe general consensus is: either he thinks I'm an airhead or he thinks I talk too much. Either way, HIS opinion, being that he is less than 4 months in the family does not count for anything in MY opionion, grin! Noreen
I totally agree with you there Noreen. Anyone rude enough to make such a comment is either being deliberately spiteful or is ignorant of the basic rules of polite society - he really doesn't know you well enough to have made the comment as banter or fun!
You admit to being an airhead at times - I admit being a dingbat at a lot of others! That way life is fun. :-)
