Hi all I got my invite yesterday, so logged on to check it all out. I know I'm going to enjoy it and will have to be careful about the amount of time I spend there.
One thing I'm liking about it already: the ability to call up a particular yarn and see the projects people have made from it. Something else - there is a place in your "notebook" where you can inventory your needles. Yes, I know I could have done it myself on Excel, but here it is, already set up. I just have to drag my bag of needles into my computer room and start entering them. I'll be able to print out a copy and stick it in my purse, so that I have that info right there if I want to buy more needles.
There's a spot to list your books.... I didn't even realize I had that many books until I started putting them in my notebook. And that's only the ones they have in their database.
There are groups for discussions and help, a place to display photographs of your stash, and look at other people's stash (now that is interesting!). Another thing I really like is that everything is right there, all in one place.
Anyhow, it's a fun place and I wish the owners all the best in their endeavour. Anyone here that's on it, let me know your I.D. so I can look you up. Mine is "Yarnfanatic". ;>)
