Re: How many of you are familiar with this pattern?

Pirjo it is easy once you think a bit about it ,,,, Make yourself a paper [ old newspaper will be good] pattern of a sweater,,back , sleeves , front ,,,,,,, now put it on before the mirror ,,,,, and look ,,,, Youare used to knit it from the hem up ,,,, But to any reason , it can just as well be done cuff to cuff ,,,, a little suggestion ,,, since you are already doing it cuff to cuff ,,, why not ??? knit the sleeves IN THE ROUND ??? you start your first sleeves on dps and as it widens change to a circuklar , while when you do the second sleeve ,, you start with circular end with dps. Look at a commercila made sweater , you will notice that decreases were made 2 stiches apart on the underside ,,,, thus when you make your circular sleeve mark the starting point and when you have to increase or decrease do it on 2nd and 3rd stiches Before and after The mark .... mirjam
