Hi Wooly

I read RSSIF as well as RCTY, and when the skating heats up we get these asshole trolls making their stupid posts trying to stir things up. I find that ignoring these F*%#ing idiots is this best way too.

What are you spinning/knitting these days?

My daughter sent me an e-mail today advising she has worn huge holes in her slippers and asked for a new pair. I'm working on them right now, and expect to have them finished and ready for fulling by tomorrow or Saturday. I'm also working on my Peacock Feathers shawl, and have started a vest from the rayon chenille my sister gave me for Christmas.

Back to your regularly scheduled programming ;>)

Spinning, then knitting up some black Texas rambo that I sent out last year for processing. I'm turning it into a Circumnavigated cardi. Miracles never cease, I've got the first sleeve *nearly* done to the ribbing. I'll be able to pick up the second sleeve tomorrow but I'll be out of yarn before I get it finished. Then it'll be back to spinning, at least for a day - I'll need to finish the sleeve ribbing and put on the button band, then it'll be DONE.

see the orthopod tomorrow for yet another chat about my wrist. Thedepo injection before Christmas did wonders - now I can hear theclickety-clickety noise it makes when I pronate/supinate/rotate - asure sign of the ligament damage. But it doesn't HURT the way it did,so that's OK. I still have a surgery slot at the end of the month, soI have time to finish the sweater and maybe one or two of the socksI've been ignoring.

I've been doing some stashing-up, thanks to an inventory sale at the LYS. Like I need more yarn. Hehehe!

I've got some suede slipper soles languishing in the stash. What size do you need for the slippers you're making for your daughter?

Hey, that's my line!

Reply to the list as I do not publish an email address to USENET. This practice has cut my spam by more than 95%. Of course, I did have to abandon a perfectly good email account...

Who cares? For someone who often preaches that this group should stick to skating, you should follow your own advice.

Boy, you really ducked on that one didn't you? But that's to be expected with you Bimbolou.

Here's a great idea to deal with the RSFC trolls: "Ultimate Fighting on Ice." Put them on the ice one-on-one against any of the ladies final flight. I'd personally pick Stephanie Rosenthal. I just saw her SP - the duel would look like the wood chipper scene in "Fargo."

Can you knit me a pair when you're done with her's?

To my friends on RCTY - please ignore this woman named bbarlou. She is a troll who regularly appears on the figure skating group I read, and she had no clue that this was a cross post, or what I was trying to do to discourage the idiot trolls who wrote the original ignorant post about the young female skaters and when they would be "legal". (sigh).
