Marie, I know that there are more people who dislike me than like me here. I have more enemies than friends. Most of those who dislike me, I still like and want to meet. The person I referred to doesn't even post here anymore, or if they do, I'm not aware as I have my newsreader set to strip posts from their IP. I agreee that this IS an enjoyable group. I also agree with the elderly lady's statement. As a recipient of such judgements, I *should* know better. Mea culpa, Noreen

I think you are wrong. I think that you are an integral part of this group and that many here like you very much indeed. I count myself as one of those people. I think that many people didn't like a particular post, firstly because some people felt left out, and secondly, because you indicated that there was a person in the group who you particularly did NOT want to meet.

The thing that drew me to this group in the first place was the good will and generosity that flourished here. You have helped me a great deal, as have so many others, and I am truly greatful for that.

It is like a big family, and as with any family sometimes personalities will clash. It makes me uncomfortable when this happens, and I wait it out until the dust settles. Even though we are from many different places and walks of life, we all have at least one thing in common, that is our interest/love/obsession with all things thread/yarn. That is what brought us all together in the first place, and I hope we can all keep that in mind.
