Re:Weather (Hurricane) in the southern states

I returned from Sydney yesterday and want to thank all you wonderful people for your thoughts and prayers - it was a sad time as Irene was only 53 but all her life she has been ill , in one way or another, so in a way it was a blessed relief but still very sad for her husband who totally adored her and also her son and daughter. Thank you all God Bless gwen

Death is always sad, Gwen, even when it is a release. Those of us who are left still long for the departed to be back, and miss them. Luckily, we have good memories to comfort ourselves.

Hugs, Katherine

Sorry to hear of this Gwen, it is hard to comfort those who are bereaved and all you can do is be there for them, the pain will ease but the memories will stay bright forever, and will replace some of the pain they feel.. I know it doesn't just go...sometimes you suddenly realise and it all comes back again....this is why it is so important to cherish those dear to us now in this life, so that when the time comes for them to leave they can go and we know we have sent them with our blessings into the next world..

hugs .. Cher

Thank you Cher, i agree that the wonderful memories are the great gift we have.

To night with the Rugby League final it was good too as every time our Queensland team got a score we phoned Irene's husband and vice versa when his NSW team got a goal - or two - or ???? ( they won) We really felt for him and it was good for us to be able to laugh with him and his daughter tonight. God Bless Gwen
