Remeeting old sweaters /skirts and other items

Good morning all ,,, As i was reshuffling the content of closets , bags, boxes and piles ,,,, :>:>:>:> , i found some of my old Knited and crocheted stuff ... a crochet Suit of Skirt +shirt ,,, which i outgrew. some sweaters , vests etc,,, some kept some i lost intetrest in ,,,,, the once i can`t reuse i might felt. I am slowly building a collection of the most wonderful curious felted pieces ,,, One sweater, a very thin wooled [ knitted on 4mm], gave me nice memories i knitted it in the 60s ,,,, it is light mustard,,, but the main fun was seeing how a most plain pattern can be chic ,,,,, i knitted row 1 in k4, k 2 tog Loop on needle , repeat till end. row 2 purl , row 3 knit , row 4 purl , row 5 k1, knit 2 tog loop on needle , *k4 , knit 2 together loop on needle ,, repeat to end from * .row 6 purl , row 7 knit , row 8 purl it really looks like a delicate lace ... i think i found the patern for my Turkiz wool ,,, mirjam

"Loop on needle" I assume is a yarnover. That makes it lace knitting. I forget who defined lace knitting as having some rows that are plain knitting with no special stitches, and knitted lace as having special stitches on every row. Either way it's lace.

I don't know, something must be going around. Everywhere I go people are digging through their closets, clearing out stuff - I even got rid of a few things I never should have saved.
