Els, Ray, Robin (her DH) & I met at the Knitting & Stitching Exhibition at Alexandra Palace in London one year and had a lovely chatty lunch in between serious stash enhancement sessions Love & higs Christine

Great, neat to meet up with some of us in the group. I have had lunch with Eimear, who lives very close by, and met up with Darleen, for lunch as well in Toronto. I hope that I can get together with Jan and the Seattle gang this summer. I have made very many good friends, seen or unseen...LOL

We are a great bunch, right......:=)))))))

I really enjoy meeting up here, but just imagine how much fun, and how noisy it'd be if we could all get together somewhere. They'd have to give all the neighbours ear plugs: and that'd just be for the noise of needles and hooks clicking!! Love & higs (dreaming it might be possible!) Christine

Well, at the time Gwen is "here", I think I might be retired, and that means lots of time, may be not so much money! LOL!

But "we" plan to go to New York for next Easter, (we are even more collegues who have passed 60 then! LOL) and I am afraid my budget will go there, If not, I would say: Why could we meet here somewhere, since Gwen comes! It seems to me that we THEN are nearest neightbour, we at this side of "the Pond"! LOL! AUD ;-)

O I'm off up to Edinburgh in August again to support DD2 in her thespian endeavours (!) Maybe I can leave DH for the day & pop over to Glasgow to meet you. might be a bit easier this year with your joints having settled. I'd love to if it's at all possible. Oh yeah, we sure would make lots of noise, talking and knitting as well....Would be fun though, we could do it all in Cher's location, and have a potluck like she does every year with her exstended family, what do you think Cher.....

Els I can smell the coffee from here and can see the smiling Canadian greeting but we have very reluctantly put that off list too - we would love to go to Tofino again but we will not have a car and although we will be in Portland Oregon it is a fair way to go without a car from there.

Each time we were in the States and Canada we had our own car - bought for the first trip in 1990 and left there for all the others, but we finally sold it in 2001.
