Looking for a Shrug Pattern

Hello

I havent posted here for awhile but I read the postings often. I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction to find a shrug pattern on the internet. I saw one I liked in a book, but the book was too expensive and I just liked the one pattern. It was knit, I think, and was made of 4 or 5 big squares. It was sewn together to make the sleeves. If anyone has seen a pattern anything like that, knit or crochet, I would appreciate knowing where it is.

Thanks Carol Ann in Ohio

Hi Carol Ann. long time no see. I can't help you with a pattern but just want to say I'm happy to see you here again.

Try this one: It's just a rectangle that's been stitched up. Makes it great for a beginner.

Hi Carol Ann

I'll pipe in here to say that Mirjam's moebius makes a lovely quick shrug/wrap...I made one in a couple of evenings for my DD2 to wear to her sister's confirmation last week, and it got lots of compliments on the 'twist' in front. One big rectangle, twist, sew seam. Or work the twist as you go, which I forgot to do in my first row! No sewing at all in that way.
