I retired at 55 and don't know how I ever found time to work! I bet the Queen would love to retire and do what she wants to do all day. We're the lucky ones!

me the same age is retiring too, a life of energetic dancing singing and generally racing around four nights a week has come to an end, and now I look forward to my weekends and what else I can do, and if we go out, we can watch others perform..lol

To be honest (although it's none of my business), I hope she doesn't retire until Prince William is ready to take over... not to sure I want to see Prince Charles and wifey in charge.

As for you retiring, Cher... I hope if I ever make it back to England and get to meet you, that you will come out of retirement for at least *one* song so I can see you in action. LOL

I watched some the the 80th birthday party on TV and told DH that I hope I look that good when I get that age.

I also retired at age 55 and don't regret it for one minute, best years of my married life with both of us being home.
