Shelagh, you have such a sweet granddaughter! And SHE has such a sweet grandma!!! Not all grandchildren get SUCH gifts from their grandmas! Hugs, AUD ;-)

Yessirreee ma'm! I'm not surprised it's been discontinued. It kinks up something fierce when being knitted. It's also a very heavy sweater. Her Mom (my daughter) bought the yarn. I think it would have been better as a cushion cover. I don't think it's going to wash well either. I told my daughter to squeeze it out by hand in the sink. At least it was a fast project, after I frogged it once.

Yes, she is, and quite well behaved too - at least while visiting me (snicker).

It's fun knitting for a small girl.... the projects don't take very long (smile). Plus - she really likes the things I made. She loves the beanie hats - I made 3 for her, plus a scarf to match two of the hats.

Yes, I think she's sweet too (grin).

I'm a lucky grandmother. She's a sweet kid - but who knows how long it will last - she'll be coming up on her teen years soon.... ;>(
