Corrupting Polly - was Good Deal on Fabric

Polly,

If you missed out on any colors of the "color connectors", look it up at quiltshops.com Stitch-n-frame and a couple of other sites have it on sale right now. Stitch-n-frame has it in about 40 colors for $4.98/yd.

Start dancing!

Can you remember how grown-up and excited you were when you received your first box of Crayons with 64 colors including teal and fuchsia? That's how happy I am with these fabrics. What they call fuchsia is the deep nearly black rose wafting into lighter brighter tones. That one would keep someone in to appliquéing roses delighted forever. Not much call for American Beauty Rose appliqué in newborn quilts but something will come to me. Polly

I looked these up to see what they were and on Stitch N'Frames' site there is an unusual pattern using Color Connectors (or similar!).

I made it Tiny as it was so long:

Its the first picture below the pink - where they illustrate the whole range. Looked fun to play with!

That quilt might be fun to make but I'm not sure I'd like to have it in the house; kind of looks like it's alive. And noisy! Polly

Howdy!

Oh, yeah, that's gorgeous. YUM! Good inspiration (don't need a pattern).

Cheers!

Rita,

I remember when the Color Connector fabrics first came out - same time as Jane Sassaman's first fabric line.

The Lime Green was the most gorgeous fabric I'd ever seen.

I guess I got a little carried away.....
