How things have been going. very OT

Some of you may remember that I was going through some really horrendous bleeding problems. That finally stopped (after 8+weeks, a trip to the emergency room, and a total of 3 10-day rounds of Provera) But it looks like a hysterectomy is going to have to be scheduled soon. I am *not* at all upset by this or anything, it is long past due and this last bout of stuff really convinced everyone. Even the people at the insurance company have agreed that it needs to be done. However the changeover to a new provider system as of March 1, has some other stuff in a mess. Turns out that I am on, and have been on for a few years, a much higher than normally recommended dosage of my anti-depression med. So we have to deal with that. I have some samples, in very small dosages compared to what I take, and a doctor's appointment tomorrow.

So hopefully we will get things worked out and straightened out and all. I would be nice to be completely sure of being back at full strength of my meds. (I actually had a meltdown at the insurance company office on Friday when I went in to pay the March premium. Had several of the big wigs of the company in with me. Including the doctor who is the medical person there, the person in charge of pharmacy and so on. )

Any way, I hope to be back in fine form soon. Will let those of you interested know what all is going on.

Hope that those who were not doing well the last time I was on are doing a bit better. And happy dances for those who have completed things, good wishes to birthdays, anniversaries and other wonderful events. And positive energy going out to those who need it.

That's just horrid - that all your balanced 'stuff' is messed up. I do hope it all gets back on track before too long. At least you are facing the problems head on. Good for you. That's a good attitude to hang on to! . In message , Pati Cook writes

{{{{{{{{{{Pati}}}}}}}}}} Sounds like you've been having an awful time of it, but I'm glad "they" finally decided the problems should be fixed - it's so frustrating to have to be at the mercy of insurance people sometimes. Hope all goes well with the surgery and the meds adjustment and that you're back to yourself before you know it.

Pati,

Had a hysterectomy about 9 years ago, greatest thing I ever did. Not only that, but after I was healed and all found that I was able to get of the anti-depressants. My out of whack hormones were a lot of the cause of the depression.

Good luck.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Pati}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Prayers for a swift recovery and smooth transition from insurance companies. The idea of having to deal with large corporations like that *shudder*......
