Pics of Quilt Show Entries

Connie asked for pics of my quilt show entries so I finally took the pictures off my camera and here they are in my Webshots album.

Worked for me the first time... I LOVE your baby quilt - especially the green/pink/blue/orange background effect between the blocks. How colorful!

Thanks, Judy. That one went to my great-nephew, Jackson, in Texas. His Mom says he loves it for his "tummy time". : > )

Lovely, Donna, especially that decadent jewel box quilt! If it needs a good home, I volunteer to care for it. PAT in VA/USA

They are really lovely Donna. I love them all, for different reasons. That baby quilt is so funny and sweet; and the jewel box is gorgeous. Thanks for going to the trouble of getting them onto the sharing site. . In message , Donna in NE La. writes

You threw down the gauntlet ... I choose 'weapons' and location! Fat quarters at dawn ... Waikiki Beach, Hawaii! I request Polly Esther as my second.

Gee, thanks, Connie. (hanging head shyly) Yep, first time! I always think everybody else's quilts are better but I decided this year that I would enter something myself. I wish I had the talent to be a designer--I need a pattern or at least a hint of an idea before starting. And I do love selecting all the colors--laying the bolts out and moving and rearranging, changing, etc. If it works out that I can make it to Pensacola for their show, I will bring them and maybe we can arrange a meet-up!!

All beautiful. I really like the blue-work one, so soft and calm. Thanks for the view! Roberta in D

Thanks, Roberta. I've been trying to think of a name for the blue work one. I think you helped--I'm going to call it "All Is Calm".

With Polly as your second, I might have to retire before a blow is struck. The odds would be too much. Mind you, I do fancy the location! So shall we just meet there, have a coffee and toss for it instead? >g< . In message , Pat in Virginia writes
