Pics of my brother's Quilt of Valor

Finally managed to get the pics of my brother's Quilt of Valor up on Flickr. (No problems with Flickr, just with getting a round tuit).

I can't believe it took me from October thru most of January trying to get a label on it that was decent. Even this one's not so good, but how I wish I'd have given the quilt to him when he might have enjoyed it, label or no label.

Would that foresight were as sharp as hindsight.

Heidi, the quilt brings tears to my eyes. It's beautiful, and I'm so glad his son has it now. I know it's natural to have the regrets you do about the timing, but I continue to believe he knew just how important this QOV is and how much you cared about him to make it for him.

Heidi: Lovely quilting and very bold patchwork layout. Well done. I am sure it gave your DB comfort, so please forgive yourself for not finishing it sooner. Hugs, Pat in Virginia

Thanks, Pat... It was a huge exercise in stitching in the ditch on a frame. That is a whole 'nuther experience!
