Massive cleanup!

...........and boy does my sewing room need it!!!

I am putting everything away, and celebrating the birth of my new, super-duper cutting table. It is 4 feet by 6 feet plywood mounted with nuts and countersunk bolts on two ironing boards.

That was my DH's good idea, and it is great!! I slapped a batt and canvas on that baby and we are ready to rock and roll!!!

How wonderful.........no more hands and knees (ouch).......AND.......you can just fold up the ironing board legs and store it against the wall if you like!!......I will probably leave it up all the time...........

What a happy New Year in my sewing room!!

Whoa, Nellie! You are good to go now!

Have had my "jumbo board" for over two years now, and wouldn't be without. Everything from ironing large pieces to cutting, tracing, etc is sooooo much easier as well.

Hey now........ I am just down the road, I wouldn't have to check him out of the lending library for very long. LOL!!!!!!!!!! What a great idea for a cutting table. Sounds marvelous!!

Oh, and when you get done cleaning your sewing room......... ;) Actually, my MIL is here and she said she will need a project to keep herself busy. She said all I have to do is tell her where things go and she will dive in. :)

If I knew where I wanted everything when I start I could have a helper too!! The trouble is I sort of re-create it as I go!!

LOL!!!!!! Ah! Another bird of my feather. ;) I know what you mean. I clean and then think "hmm....this didn't get put away because I keep it way over there.....wonder if I could get it put away next time if I start keeping it over here?" lol Then of course that means shifting something else around and then something else and..... We make way too much work for ourselves trying to save ourselves some work don't we? LOL

Good luck with the clean out. If it helps....know you aren't the only one digging out from under. ;)

It does help to know that! I finally finished, and MUST go down and put in an hour on a UFO to get it out of here.........Then I can begin again in 2007!

Add me too, to your way of cleaning :-( Never ending. I get so frustrated.

I am sure life was simplier when we didn't have as much stuff to put away :-)
